Key Responsibilities
- Assess and diagnose patients, developing treatment plans and prescribing medications as needed.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care and support.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of population-based strategies to improve health outcomes.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and evidence-based practices, applying this knowledge to improve patient care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
- Current registration as a Nurse Practitioner with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives.
- Four years of recent, relevant clinical nursing experience.
- Successful completion of the Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE).
