We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Innovation Manager to join our Assurance Innovation team. As a trusted advisor, you will provide thought leadership on emerging trends and changes, ensuring team members adhere to the highest industry standards.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and complete initiatives and tasks, ensuring successful execution and alignment with the Assurance Innovation Strategic Plan.
  • Collaborate with Assurance leaders, stakeholders, and team members to identify areas for innovation and process optimization across Assurance services.
  • Assist in the identification of emerging technologies, data analytics, and advanced methodologies to enhance the quality and efficiency of Assurance services.
  • Work with stakeholders through the ideation, design, and implementation phases to complete innovation projects and initiatives; delivering solutions that transform the Assurance practice and provide value to clients.
  • Support the development and execution of the Assurance Innovation strategy by aligning with the firm's overall business objectives and goals for the Assurance practice.
  • Identify and document business requirements for Assurance Innovation initiatives, ensuring clear and comprehensive specifications to guide project development and implementation.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key global vendors in the Assurance Innovation space.
  • Support the development and delivery of training programs and provide thought leadership content and guidance to build Assurance team member capabilities. Specifically in the areas of emerging technologies, data analytics, and innovation methodologies.
  • Stay current on emerging trends and technologies and collaborate with other innovation leaders across the firm to share best practices, foster a culture of innovation, and drive cross-functional initiatives.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of knowledge base materials for team members.

Requirements

  • Completion of a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) or similar designation.
  • At least 5 years of assurance experience in a professional services firm, with exposure to innovation or transformation initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of the Assurance industry, regulations, and standards.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels and functions across the firm.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a basic understanding of data analytics and emerging technologies in Assurance.
  • Willingness to learn and stay current on emerging trends and technologies in the Assurance industry.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects, and meeting deadlines.
  • Any of the following would be considered an asset: Experience with developing and delivering training programs and thought leadership content; Experience with supporting successful innovation initiatives that deliver tangible business results and client value; Project management experience involving the management of cross-functional teams and budgets.
