Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Repair Technician to join our team at Wheel Truck and Trailer Repair Inc. As a key member of our repair team, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, and performing repairs or replacements as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Test Mechanical Units: Use specialized tools and equipment to inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions.
  • Perform Repairs and Replacements: Repair or replace mechanical units or components as needed to ensure vehicles are safe and operational.
  • Estimate Costs and Labor: Estimate parts and labor costs to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs.
  • Provide Customer Service: Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements, and provide excellent customer service.
  • Complete Reports: Complete reports to record problems and work performed.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Environment: Dusty and noisy work site environment.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
  • Work Hours: 32 to 40 hours per week.
