Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Repair Technician to join our team at Wheel Truck and Trailer Repair Inc. As a key member of our repair team, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing mechanical units, diagnosing faults and malfunctions, and performing repairs and maintenance on a variety of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Test Mechanical Units: Use specialized tools and equipment to inspect and test mechanical units, including engines, transmissions, and brakes.
  • Diagnose Faults and Malfunctions: Use technical knowledge and experience to diagnose faults and malfunctions in mechanical units.
  • Perform Repairs and Maintenance: Perform repairs and maintenance on vehicles, including adjustments, replacements, and installations of parts and components.
  • Estimate Parts and Labour Costs: Estimate the cost of parts and labour required to perform repairs and maintenance.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, including advising customers on work performed and future repair requirements.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Site Environment: Dusty and noisy work site environment.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
  • Work Hours: 32 to 40 hours per week.
