Neurosurgeon / Neurosurgery Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Neurosurgeon to join our team at the University of Manitoba.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating neurological disorders, prescribing medications, and ordering diagnostic procedures. They will also be eligible for appointment as an Assistant Professor and will be a member of the Max Rady College of Medicine.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and treat neurological disorders
- Prescribe medications and order diagnostic procedures
- Consult with other physicians as required
- Develop and implement a research program in neurosurgery and epilepsy
The successful candidate must hold a Doctor of Medicine degree with specialization in neurosurgery and have fellowship training or equivalent experience in functional and epilepsy surgery. Clinical research is an expectation, and the development of a dedicated research program is a possibility.
