Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled neurosurgeon to join our team at Manitoba Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating neurological disorders, prescribing medications, and ordering diagnostic procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and treat neurological disorders, including epilepsy and functional neurosurgery
  • Prescribe medications and order diagnostic procedures as needed
  • Consult with other physicians as required
  • Develop and implement a research program in neurosurgery

Qualifications:

The successful candidate must hold a Doctor of Medicine Degree with specialization in neurosurgery. Fellowship training or equivalent experience in both functional and epilepsy surgery is strongly preferred.

Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a dynamic and collaborative environment with a team of healthcare professionals. The primary site location will be at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
