Job Title: Senior Quality Assurance Specialist - Pega Deployment Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in supporting the Pega Deployment Manager (PDM Project). As a key member of our Quality Assurance and Control team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our projects by configuring and running continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) workflows for our Client Pega applications from within Pega Platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in work sessions to gain a thorough understanding of project requirements and ensure they are adequately documented for efficient translation to test materials.

• Review project documentation and provide risk analysis from a testing perspective.

• Create test artifacts, including test plans, test strategies, test scenarios, test cases, test conditions, and test scripts, based on risk analysis to ensure optimal use of testing time.

• Perform test execution of simple to complex UAT test cases, assess UAT test results, and take appropriate action.

• Prepare sign-off documentation and other documentation as required for QA management review and approval.

• Utilize applicable Test Management tools (JIRA, Confluence).

• Assess and schedule the release of projects into the UAT environment and manage the execution of testing.

• Continually evaluate priorities for various projects in response to frequent directional changes and take decisive action as required.

• Transfer application and process expertise to more junior analysts within UAT and provide hands-on training on systems, hardware, environment, product, standards, and methodology to test team members.

Candidate Requirements:

• 5+ years of Quality Assurance and Control experience

• 2+ years' experience testing with PEGA

• 5+ years' demonstrated experience performing test design and test execution of simple to complex UAT test cases (functional, regression, integration)

• Demonstrated experience creating test plans/test strategies

• 5+ years' experience in Agile + Waterfall environments

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience performing estimates

• Experience from Financial Institutions, banking an asset

• Experience with JIRA, Confluence

Soft Skills Required:

• Excellent communication skills

• Leadership skills

• Ability to work autonomously, requires minimal supervision

Education:

• Bachelor's or equivalent working experience
