As a key member of our Senior Management Team, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and operations of our Psychiatry Department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and management to a team of medical professionals, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive growth, innovation, and excellence in our Psychiatry Department.
  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery and achieve organizational goals.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with community partners, organizations, and customers.
Requirements
  • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or equivalent degree.
  • License to practice medicine in Ontario.
  • Specialist certification in psychiatry by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
  • Minimum 10 years of clinical experience, with at least 5 years in a medical leadership position.
  • Proven track record of leading interdisciplinary teams, driving growth, and developing new programs and services.
  • Exceptional leadership skills, executive presence, and ability to think and act with strategic and tactical agility.
  • Strong business acumen, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to create and maintain positive relationships with community partners, organizations, and customers.
