Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team at Salt & Pepper Canada Limited. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and ensuring the integrity of our financial systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and general ledgers.
  • Payroll Processing: Prepare cheques for payroll and ensure timely payment to employees.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
  • Accounting Systems: Maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
  • Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word, attention to detail, fast-paced environment, repetitive tasks, tight deadlines, accurate, dependable, flexible, judgement, organized, reliable, time management.
