Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeping Clerk to join our team at Go Motel. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and reconciling accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
  • Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
  • Post journal entries
  • Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
  • Prepare trial balance of books
  • Reconcile accounts

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience
  • Criminal record check
  • Attention to detail
  • Tight deadlines
  • Accurate

Work Environment:

  • Work Term: Permanent

  • Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
