Our client is a thriving boutique family law firm situated in Oakville. They are actively seeking an experienced family lawyer to join their dynamic team of experts.

 

Your Role

Your role will encompass delivering top-tier legal counsel and representation to clients across various family law issues, including divorce, property settlement, parenting arrangements, domestic violence, child support, and spousal maintenance.

You'll conduct client interviews, undertake thorough legal research, and craft comprehensive legal documentation. Additionally, you'll represent clients in court, mediation, and alternative dispute resolution forums. Effective time management and adept communication with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders are crucial.

What's Required for Success

To excel in this position, candidates should hold a bachelor's degree in law and be licensed to practice as a lawyer in Ontario. A minimum of one year of experience in family law or a relevant field is required. Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities are essential, alongside strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. The capacity to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team setting is crucial. Dedication to social justice and delivering client-centered services is paramount, along with a high degree of empathy and sensitivity toward the diverse needs of clientele.
