About the Role

Lakeside Process Controls Ltd. is a leading provider of automation solutions, and we're seeking a skilled Learning and Development Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you'll play a vital role in designing and implementing training programs that drive employee growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain our Learning Management System, ensuring seamless user experience and efficient content delivery.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to create engaging in-house learning content using Articulate 360 software.
  • Support the creation of new learning units, including descriptions, costs, and enrollment links.
  • Curate relevant content from OpenSesame and create monthly newsletters with recommendations.
  • Design and deliver HR-specific training programs for our team.
  • Manage the Training Checklist process, ensuring timely completion and submission for all new hires and employees.
  • Set up training checklists as certifications in the Learning Management System and validate their accuracy.
  • Ensure all positions have associated training checklists and work with managers/trainers to revise content.
  • Own the template and ensure new checklists are created to standard.
  • Validate sign-offs and evaluations prior to deadlines and notify employees of upcoming or overdue checklists.
  • Create and distribute certificates of completion for Leads, Supervisors, and Managers.
  • Support audits by producing completed checklists and following up on training to gather certifications and confirm completion.
  • Update learning transcripts and issue training surveys to gather feedback.
  • Collect POs and submit them to the HR Administrator for payment.
  • Pull data on employee training from external sites and report on a monthly basis.
  • Update completed training in employees' learning transcripts and set up required sales training.
  • Perform ongoing reviews of existing training programs, suggesting enhancements and modifications to improve engagement, learning, and retention.
  • Maintain an updated curriculum database and training records.
Administrative Tasks
  • Monitor HR inboxes and respond to queries.
  • Create surveys to gather feedback and insights.
  • Coordinate meetings and events.
  • Scanning and photocopying documents.
  • Filing documents into employee folders.
  • Researching topics to determine best practices and new methods for improving HR programs and initiatives.
  • Assisting with other projects as assigned.
Requirements
  • University degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in Learning and Development.
  • Proficient in MS Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, and PDF Exchange.
  • Professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Well-organized and attentive to detail.
  • Strong ability to multitask and time manage.
  • Well-developed communication and training skills.
