Job Title: Senior Project Manager, Environmental Stewardship and Sustainability

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Global Minerals & Metals (M&M) team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing environmental assessments, biodiversity, and ecosystem services projects in the minerals and metals industry. The role will involve leading project delivery teams, communicating with clients, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage environmental assessments, biodiversity, and ecosystem services projects from proposal generation to delivery of quality reports.
  • Lead project delivery teams and communicate clear objectives to ensure project goals are met.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support environmental permits and approvals.
  • Participate in engineering and construction processes to ensure environmental and sustainability requirements are met.
  • Develop and manage reports aligned with international standards and guidelines.
  • Promote business development activities and foster innovation in the minerals and metals industry.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in environmental studies and risk analysis, ecosystem management, biodiversity, natural capital, revegetation, restoration, and compensation measures.
  • Master's degree in Biology, Environment Science, Engineering, Natural Science, Sustainability Management, Geoscience, Environmental Planning, Natural Landscape, or related discipline.
  • Strong writing skills and ability to convey recommendations, ideas, and insights in reports, presentation materials, and client proposals.
  • Relevant professional designation or eligibility status in Canada.
  • Knowledge of relevant federal regulations and standards governing mining operations in Canada and the United States.
