The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental consulting and project management, with experience in the mining or energy sector.
The role requires a high level of technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality project support, communicating with clients, and managing projects from proposal to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical expertise and support to project managers and teams.
- Communicate with clients and stakeholders to ensure project deliverables meet their needs.
- Manage projects from proposal to completion, including coordination of multidisciplinary teams.
- Financial tracking of project budgets and schedules.
- Support preparation of proposals and reports.
- Work with multiple projects within client's scope, budget, and schedule expectations.
- Compile and evaluate data to assist in report preparation.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and ensure proper health and safety planning.
Qualifications & Desirable Skills:
- Bachelor degree in Sciences, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of consulting experience, or environmental industry experience.
- Excellent time management and communication skills.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and project management approaches.
Beneficial Assets:
- Microsoft Project or Primavera P6 experience.
- Experience collecting field data for environmental disciplines.
- Bilingual in English and French/Spanish.
