Senior Environmental Consultant Opportunity

Environmental Resources Management (ERM) is a leading global provider of environmental, health, safety, risk, and social consulting services. We are currently seeking a highly skilled professional to join one of our Canada offices as a Senior Environmental Consultant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental consulting and project management, with experience in the mining or energy sector.

The role requires a high level of technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality project support, communicating with clients, and managing projects from proposal to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical expertise and support to project managers and teams.
  • Communicate with clients and stakeholders to ensure project deliverables meet their needs.
  • Manage projects from proposal to completion, including coordination of multidisciplinary teams.
  • Financial tracking of project budgets and schedules.
  • Support preparation of proposals and reports.
  • Work with multiple projects within client's scope, budget, and schedule expectations.
  • Compile and evaluate data to assist in report preparation.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and ensure proper health and safety planning.

Qualifications & Desirable Skills:

  • Bachelor degree in Sciences, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of consulting experience, or environmental industry experience.
  • Excellent time management and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and project management approaches.

Beneficial Assets:

  • Microsoft Project or Primavera P6 experience.
  • Experience collecting field data for environmental disciplines.
  • Bilingual in English and French/Spanish.
