We are seeking a highly skilled Culinary Team Lead to join our kitchen team.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment and be able to lead a team of cooks to maintain high-quality standards.

Responsibilities:
  1. Maintain records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory to ensure efficient operations.
  2. Analyze operating costs and other data to optimize kitchen performance.
  3. Instruct cooks on preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation techniques.
  4. Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff to maintain a smooth workflow.
  5. Prepare and cook meals or specialty foods to meet customer expectations.
  6. Requisition food and kitchen supplies to ensure adequate stock levels.
  7. Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards.
  8. Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to maintain high standards.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.

The estimated annual salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000, depending on experience and location. The working hours are approximately 32-40 hours per week, with a fixed schedule.
