About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Territory Manager to join our team at Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for achieving maximum sales profitability, growth, and account penetration within an assigned territory, market segment, and/or supplier brand.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with off-premise customers to cultivate customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Analyze and optimize sales call patterns to maximize efficiency and productivity.
  • Meet or exceed assigned monthly quotas and placement objectives.
  • Identify and capitalize on sales opportunities, promotional, and merchandising initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales, competitive activity, and payment performances of all accounts in assigned territory.
  • Stay informed about market trends and directions, and provide insights to support business growth.
  • Implement and maintain point-of-sale materials within accounts.
  • Participate in trade shows, supplier lead marketing initiatives, and other sales-related activities.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Ensure accurate order information capture and work with sales systems to conduct day-to-day sales order entry.
  • Assist customers with inventory management responsibilities, including product availability and rotation of stock.
  • Participate in sales projects, account evaluations, proposals, presentations, and other sales-related activities.
  • Attend sales meetings, on-site training, and licensed producer tours to stay informed about company policy and industry trends.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related discipline preferred.
  • Valid and current driver's license required.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including MS Office Suite and Customer Relation Management (CRM) systems.
  • Goal-oriented, focused, and assertive individual with minimal supervision.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to calculate discounts.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills to communicate with customers and internally effectively.
  • Ability to travel required.
