We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team at MJ Byrne's Irish Pub. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes to a high standard, using a variety of cooking techniques and ingredients.
- Menu Planning: Assist in planning and preparing menus for special events and daily service.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records and order supplies and equipment as needed.
- Cleanliness and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service and high-quality food.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen environment.
- Skills: Attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and physical stamina to stand for extended periods.
