About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mortgage Broker Manager to join our team at 8Twelve Mortgage Corporation. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading our mortgage brokering team and ensuring the successful implementation of our business strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and implement policies and procedures to drive business growth and ensure compliance with government regulations.
  • Hire, train, direct, and motivate a team of mortgage professionals to achieve exceptional results.
  • Oversee the preparation of reports to inform business decisions and drive strategic planning.
  • Advise senior management on key business matters and provide expert guidance on mortgage brokering practices.
  • Manage contracts and ensure timely execution of business agreements.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with government regulations and maintain knowledge of licensing requirements.
  • Ensure all necessary business licenses are in place and up-to-date.
  • Utilize MS Office and other software applications to manage business operations and drive productivity.
  • Identify and investigate compliance issues to ensure a high level of integrity within the organization.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in mortgage brokering or a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in leading high-performing teams and driving business growth.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex business issues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to adjust to changing business priorities.
