Job Title: Occupational Health and Safety Specialist

LEXO-1000 INC is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Health and Safety Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for our employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Implement Health and Safety Plans: Create and implement comprehensive health and safety plans to prevent workplace accidents and illnesses.
  • Conduct Risk Assessments: Identify potential hazards and risks in the workplace and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Inspect Workplaces: Regularly inspect workplaces to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and identify areas for improvement.
  • Investigate Incidents: Investigate workplace incidents and accidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide Training and Education: Provide training and education to employees on health and safety procedures and protocols.
Requirements:
  • Education: Master's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in occupational health and safety.
  • Certifications: First Aid Certificate, Occupational Health and Safety Certificate, and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
