Job Title: Occupational Health and Safety Specialist

Lexo-1000 Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Health and Safety Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for our employees.

Job Summary:

The Occupational Health and Safety Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Directing and controlling daily operations to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
  • Evaluating daily operations to identify potential hazards and risks
  • Planning and organizing daily operations to minimize risks and ensure a safe work environment
  • Reviewing HR directives to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
  • Establishing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment
  • Inspecting workplaces for safety or health hazards and investigating workplace accidents or illnesses
  • Developing and implementing health and safety plans to prevent disease or injury
  • Ensuring health and safety regulations are followed and evaluating work environments, programs, and procedures to control, eliminate, and prevent disease or injury
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in occupational health and safety
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
