At the Bank of Montreal, we're seeking a highly skilled Strategic Investment Relations Manager - Alternative Products. This exciting role is responsible for providing subject matter expertise in investor relations communications for alternative investment products.

About the Role:

This position requires strong analytical skills to break down complex problems and provide insights to inform strategic recommendations. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to design, develop, and implement programs and solutions that enhance our alternative investments platform.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing key processes related to investor relations communications for alternative investment products.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for the Alternative Distribution team in responding to wholesaler, investment advisor/counsellor, or end-client queries.
  • Coordinating internally to provide high-quality, timely responses to client queries related to published content.
  • Producing compelling, investor-friendly thought leadership to enhance our alternative investments platform from both a product and implementation standpoint.
  • Conducting ad hoc research in support of building our Alternatives platform and processes.
  • Providing continuous support, knowledge, and training to the Sales Team regarding product structures and investment solutions.
  • Analyzing data and information to provide insights and recommendations that inform strategic decisions.
Requirements:

We're looking for someone with at least 3 years of directly relevant experience in Asset Management, Investor Relations, Communications, or Investment Product Management roles. Ideally, you'll have an intellectual curiosity about asset management and alternative investments, with a proven ability to drive data-driven decision-making.

The salary range for this role is estimated to be between $80,000 to $120,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. The total compensation package may also include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, and other perks.
