We are seeking a seasoned Senior Investment Relations Manager to join our team at Thorek/Scott and Partners.

Our Canadian and International clients include global banks, non-bank financial institutions, private equity, investment funds, professional service firms, and entrepreneurial businesses in various industries. Our client is a highly successful Canadian asset management firm with a global platform investing in real estate, energy, and private equity.

Job Responsibilities:

The selected candidate will execute strategic and investor relations-focused initiatives reporting to the Managing Director of Private Equity. The individual will interact with senior leadership, investment professionals, and portfolio managers to drive strategy and provide oversight for junior members of the team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage equity analyst relationships, including initiation and ongoing coverage.
  • Formulate and execute strategic planning to develop key investor relationships.
  • Actively engage in formulating key messaging and be an effective communicator.
  • Proactively manage investor relationships to raise awareness and understanding of the business.
  • Understand and assess investor sentiment and implement programs to take advantage of market momentum.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have at least 8 years of experience in equity research, portfolio management, corporate development, or investor relations, and possess deep knowledge of equity valuation from a public capital markets perspective. You should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
