Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and physically capable Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team at Slave Lake Inn and Conference Centre. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of our guest rooms and public areas.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors; dust furniture; vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture; make beds and change sheets; distribute clean towels and toiletries; stock linen closet; clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances; clean and disinfect elevators.
  • Guest Services: Handle and report lost and found items; attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items; pick up debris and empty trash containers; wash windows, walls, and ceilings; clean changing rooms and showers.
  • Communication: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines; physically demanding with repetitive tasks; attention to detail required.
  • Physical Demands: Bending, crouching, kneeling; combination of sitting, standing, walking; standing for extended periods.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
