Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team at the Slave Lake Inn and Conference Centre. As a key member of our housekeeping staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of our guest rooms and public areas.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, and stock linen closets.
  • Guest Services: Distribute clean towels and toiletries, handle and report lost and found items, and attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items.
  • Kitchen and Bathroom Cleaning: Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, and clean and disinfect elevators.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, and provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive guest experience.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, physically demanding, and attention to detail.
  • Physical Demands: Bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and standing for extended periods.
