Job Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Groves Memorial Community Hospital. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a fast-paced emergency setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Perform various medical procedures, including venipuncture and therapy.
  • Document patient information, including medical history, treatment plans, and progress notes.

Requirements:

  • Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
  • Minimum two years of clinical experience in the Emergency Department or a related field.
  • Current ACLS and PALS certification.
  • CTAS certification and triage experience.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
