Job Description: The incumbent is responsible for coordinating the overall day to day operation of the medical nursing unit which includes general medicine, palliative care, obstetrics and post-operative care. The CNL is responsible for the establishment and maintenance of high standards of patient care by assuming delegated administrative, clinical and educational responsibilities. Reports to the Manager of Nursing.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years recent acute nursing experience.

Education

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)

Other Education and Training

• Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
• Nursing diploma is acceptable
