Store Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager to join our team at Chevron Town Pantry. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage Staff and Assign Duties: Supervise and train a team of retail staff to ensure excellent customer service and efficient store operations.
- Market Research and Trend Analysis: Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes, and the impact of competitors' operations on sales.
- Merchandise and Services: Determine the merchandise and services to be sold, and implement strategies to increase sales and customer satisfaction.
- Price and Credit Policies: Implement price and credit policies to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Procurement and Inventory Management: Locate, select, and procure merchandise for resale, and manage inventory levels to minimize waste and excess stock.
- Marketing Strategies: Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract and retain customers.
- Financial Management: Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses to ensure profitability.
- Staffing and Recruitment: Determine staffing requirements and recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers.
- Issue Resolution: Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
- Persons with Disabilities: Participate in government or community programs that support persons with disabilities, offer mentorship and coaching opportunities, and provide awareness training to employees.
- Newcomers and Refugees: Participate in government or community programs that support newcomers and refugees, assist with immediate settlement needs, and support social and labor market integration.
- Youth: Participate in government or community programs that support youth employment, offer on-the-job training, and provide mentorship and coaching opportunities.
- Indigenous People: Participate in government or community programs that support Indigenous people, offer mentorship and coaching opportunities, and provide cultural competency training to employees.
- Visible Minorities: Participate in government or community programs that support visible minorities, offer mentorship programs, and provide diversity and cross-cultural training to employees.
