Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver one-on-one needs assessments, information sessions, group programs, and referral services to support newcomers' successful transition.
  • Collaborate with community organizations, schools, libraries, and local employers to enhance access to resources and services.
  • Develop and implement program plans that cater to the diverse needs of newcomers, focusing on employment, education, languages, and other essential areas.
  • Ensure accurate data entry and maintenance in the client database, monitoring outcomes and success stories.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in social sciences, education, or a related field.
  • Minimum two years' experience working directly with newcomers, refugees, and immigrants.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Cultural sensitivity and ability to communicate effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Demonstrated case management and counseling experience.
