About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Steel Drafter and Detailer to join our team at Whitemud Ironworks Limited. As a key member of our fabrication team, you will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed drawings and specifications for our structural steel projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare engineering designs and drawings using AutoCAD and other software
  • Develop and prepare design sketches and documentation packages
  • Prepare construction specifications, costs, and material estimates
  • Complete drawing sets and ensure accuracy and attention to detail
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma
  • Experience: 5 years or more in structural steel drafting and detailing
  • AutoCAD Certification
  • Steel detailing Certification
  • Drafting Trade Certification
Work Environment

As a Structural Steel Drafter and Detailer, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You must be able to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail. You will be required to travel occasionally and may be required to work overtime.
