Help Desk Technician

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Help Desk Technician to join our team at The Northgate Trading Inc. in an entry-level role.
About the JobThis is a full-time position with a competitive salary of $45,000 per year, paid bi-weekly. You will work 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime as needed.
The ideal candidate will have a college or CEGEP education and less than 2 years of experience in a similar role. If you are passionate about delivering excellent customer service and resolving technical issues, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities- Provide first-line technical support to employees via phone, email, or in-person
- Analyze and resolve technical problems using various tools and resources
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless issue resolution
- Document and maintain accurate records of incidents and resolutions
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance technical skills
- Diploma in Computer Science or related field
- 1-2 years of experience in help desk or technical support role
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
- Familiarity with ITIL framework and Microsoft Windows
