As a Customer Service Department Manager at Atlantic Superstore, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales growth. Your responsibilities will include directing and supervising front-end staff, ensuring productivity and efficiency, and responding to customer inquiries and complaints. You will also be responsible for maximizing sales and gross profit, hiring and training new employees, and maintaining the condition of service counters and production areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and supervise front-end staff to secure efficient and courteous customer service
  • Ensure productivity and efficiency in the Front End, achieving expectations within the department
  • Respond immediately to customer inquiries, requests, and complaints, ensuring courteous customer relations at all times
  • Maximize sales and gross profit, ensuring sales goals and budgets are met
  • Hire and train new employees
  • Support and schedule colleagues, ensuring strict control of wage costs
  • Interpret and administer Company policy, ensuring compliance with Employee Guidelines
  • Maintain the condition of service counters, production areas, and offices (5's standards)
  • Ensure the safety and sanitation of the department

Requirements:

  • Flexibility to work a variety of hours, including days, evenings, night shifts, and weekends
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Accept responsibility for department metrics, leadership, and colleague engagement
  • Three to five years' experience in the retail service industry
  • Prior management experience is a definite asset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
