About the Role:We are seeking an experienced and motivated Technical Coordinator to work in our state-of-the-art laboratories. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical guidance, developing policies, and implementing quality programs.
Responsibilities:- Provide technical expertise and support to staff, ensuring high-quality laboratory results and patient care.
- Collaborate with the Technical Practice Lead to develop and implement standardized policies, procedures, and quality programs.
- Contribute to the evaluation and selection of new instrumentation and methodologies, promoting innovation and excellence in laboratory services.
- Develop and maintain procedure manuals, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information for staff.
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- A strong background in medical laboratory science, with relevant certification from the Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science.
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- A valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle for business purposes.
