About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team at Lever Arms Service Ltd. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other financial documents.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting and Auditing: Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and perform audits to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
  • Payroll and Benefits Administration: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, and administer benefits programs.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and provide recommendations to management.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in accounting software, MS Excel, and other Microsoft Office applications.
