Job Title: Electrical Applications Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Applications Specialist to join our team at G&W Electric Co. As an Electrical Applications Specialist, you will be responsible for working with customers to understand their electrical needs and providing solutions that meet their requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpreting customer electrical specifications and selecting equipment to meet their needs
  • Preparing product quotations and bids for engineered packages
  • Providing technical support and expertise for our outside sales force, consultants, and customers
  • Working with cross-functional teams on various projects as needed
  • Interface with Engineering and Product Management teams on product design/capability inquiries

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 1-3 years of experience as an applications engineer, inside sales, or related areas preferably in industrial/manufacturing settings
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the full Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with JDE and Salesforce software is an asset

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exposure or prior experience with electrical switchgear/design would be a definite asset

Physical Demands/Working Conditions:

  • General Office Environment, PC use
