Mechanical Design Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Draftsperson to join our team at EMEC Design Group LTD. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating detailed engineering designs and drawings, developing design sketches, and preparing construction specifications, costs, and material estimates.
Key Responsibilities- Design and Drafting: Prepare engineering designs and drawings, develop and prepare design sketches, and create detailed technical illustrations.
- Specifications and Estimates: Prepare construction specifications, costs, and material estimates, and ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Contract and Tender Preparation: Prepare contracts and tenders, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Reporting and Documentation: Write technical reports, specifications, and other documentation as required.
- Quality Control: Examine drawings for conformity and errors, and ensure that all designs meet company standards.
- Collaboration and Communication: Consult with clients, engineers, and production specialists to establish product requirements, and work collaboratively with the design team to achieve project goals.
- Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 32 to 40 hours per week.
