About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Draftsperson to join our team at EMEC Design Group LTD. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating detailed engineering designs and drawings, developing design sketches, and preparing construction specifications, costs, and material estimates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Drafting: Prepare engineering designs and drawings, develop and prepare design sketches, and examine drawings for conformity and errors.
  • Technical Writing: Write technical reports, specifications, and contracts.
  • Consultation and Collaboration: Consult with clients, engineers, and production specialists to establish product requirements.
  • Project Management: Prepare contracts and tenders, and manage project timelines and budgets.
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 32 to 40 hours per week.
