EHN Canada is a leading provider of mental health, trauma, and addiction treatment services. We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Support Staff to join our team.
The primary function of this role is to ensure the smooth operation of our treatment programs, working closely with clinical staff to provide exceptional care to our patients.
- Provide life skills training to patients, including daily living skills and personal care.
- Assist with discharge planning and coordination.
- Facilitate group therapy sessions and community meetings.
- Monitor patient attendance and provide support as needed.
- Drive patients to appointments and activities.
- Provide emotional support to patients and staff.
- Monitor patient activities and ensure compliance with facility policies.
- Ensure patient safety and security at all times.
- Perform administrative tasks, including data entry and record-keeping.
- Participate in in-service training and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Certificate in a related field, such as Community Health Worker or Health Care Worker.
- Experience working in a mental health or addiction treatment setting.
- Valid First Aid/CPR certification.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license.
