Global Talent Technology Co-op

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Co-op student to join our Global Talent Technology team in Vancouver. As a Co-op student, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with innovative talent technology tools and support multiple geographically dispersed client groups.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, configure, deploy, and support commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) products, resolving critical application errors and incoming support tickets.
  • Craft comprehensive documentation, guides, and infographics to support various user groups and processes.
  • Automate repetitive and manual tasks using scripts and develop lean self-serve web applications using Power Automate.
  • Conduct regular data cleansing, data modeling, and data analysis with Python, Excel, and Power BI, including crafting monthly and quarterly dashboards.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Python with knowledge and understanding of libraries like pandas and requests.
  • Demonstrable understanding of how to use RESTful APIs, with familiarity with authorization frameworks (e.g., OAuth 2.0, SAML 2.0, SCIM) a plus.
  • Experience in front-line customer service or technical support, with the ability to clearly communicate sophisticated technical concepts to non-technical collaborators.
  • Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and their benefits, enabling effective collaboration, adaptability, and continuous improvement within a team environment.
  • Experience with Power Platform applications and/or Relational Databases a plus.
  • Must be enrolled in a recognized and accredited Canadian post-secondary institution throughout the duration of the term, available for full-time work, and willing to relocate to Vancouver, BC if currently studying outside of Metro Vancouver.
