Job Title: Film Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Film Director to join our team at Native Counselling Services of Alberta.

Job Summary:

The Film Director will be responsible for overseeing the production of our films, ensuring that they are of high quality and meet our organization's standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Production Management: Determine the scheduling of production, locate funding for the project, and monitor the project's success after release.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise a team of 5-10 people, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and resources to complete their tasks.
  • Management: Oversee the management of the project, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Security and Safety: Ensure that all necessary security and safety measures are in place, including a criminal record check.
  • Transportation/Travel: Travel expenses will be paid by the employer.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work under pressure, with attention to detail, and be organized.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, judgement, and values and ethics.

Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience: Experience an asset or equivalent experience.
