\Job Description
\This role is part of a unique partnership between Scarborough Health Network, Michael Garron Hospital, North York General Hospital, and Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre to improve critical care nursing capacity.
\You will work as a Registered Nurse in an Intensive Care Unit/Critical Care Unit, with opportunities to work across four hospital sites based on business needs and patient volumes.
\Responsibilities

- Provide excellent patient and family-centered care in a supportive and culturally sensitive manner.\
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of care providers to assess, educate, prevent, maintain, and restore patient health.\
- Demonstrate professional accountability for your practice and identify opportunities to meet your learning needs.\
- Contribute to ensuring health and safety policies are followed to provide a healthy environment for staff, physicians, volunteers, learners, patients, and families.\
- Showcase excellent interpersonal skills, connecting with patients and families, physicians, staff, and volunteers.\
- Demonstrate a commitment to customer service when dealing with patients, colleagues, and volunteers.\
- Participate in unit quality initiatives and measurement.\
- Foster a positive work environment in accordance with Health & Safety and Code of Conduct policies and legislation.\
- Implement plans of care, including independent and interdependent nursing functions.\
- Function independently and as part of an interprofessional team member in fast-paced, demanding environments.\\/ul\
