Job Summary

Spruce Meadows is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Jump Crew Attendant to join our team for the upcoming season. As a key member of our event staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our competition rings and adjacent warm-up rings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Setup and maintenance of competition rings and warm-up rings
  • Measure and ensure compliance with Equestrian Canada and FEI standards
  • Assist with sports timing equipment setup
  • Support equine ambulance drills and emergency animal removal
  • Perform jump repair and general maintenance
  • Divot and turf repair, irrigation requirements
  • Basic maintenance and upkeep of equipment and tools

Requirements

  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • Full availability during contract dates
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience
  • Comfortability around horses
  • Reliable transportation and valid Class 5 driver's license
  • Ability to work weekends, evenings, late nights, and early mornings
  • Comfortable with physically demanding job and working in all weather conditions
