Job Title: Collection Analyst

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Collection Analyst to join our team at Electricenergyonline. As a Collection Analyst, you will play a critical role in reviewing and monitoring end-to-end credit and collection policies and processes. Your primary responsibilities will include providing collection support for various markets, reviewing and investigating past due accounts, and communicating with internal and external business partners to resolve collections-related customer issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide collection support for various markets, ensuring timely and effective resolution of customer issues.
  2. Review and investigate past due accounts, identifying opportunities for process improvements and recommending actions to resolve outstanding balances.
  3. Communicate with customers with large outstanding balances, providing clear and concise information on payment options and resolving any disputes or concerns.
  4. Create and manage customer communications, including drop notices and demand letters, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  5. Collaborate with internal and external business partners to resolve collections-related customer issues, ensuring seamless communication and effective issue resolution.
  6. Reconcile accounts in case of discrepancies and prepare reports as needed, providing accurate and timely information to stakeholders.
  7. Identify and execute process improvements, leveraging knowledge and expertise to optimize collection processes and enhance customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  1. 1 year of collections or accounts receivable experience, with a strong understanding of credit and collection policies and processes.
  2. Highly organized, analytical, detail-oriented, efficient, and accurate, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  3. Advanced skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint), with the ability to manage multiple projects and ensure timely completion.
  4. Ability to adapt to constant change, with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  5. Bilingual in Spanish and English is a requirement for this role, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders.

Education:

  1. Bachelor's degree preferred, with a strong foundation in business, finance, or a related field.
