Procurement Specialist

At Alberta Ltd, we are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for purchasing general and specialized equipment, materials, or business services. This role requires a strong understanding of procurement processes and the ability to negotiate with suppliers.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and 1-2 years of experience in a related field. They will be responsible for assessing the requirements of our establishment to develop specifications for equipment, materials, and supplies to be purchased. The Procurement Specialist will also be responsible for reviewing quotations, determining contract terms and conditions, and establishing delivery schedules.

Additionally, the successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work under pressure. They will be responsible for contacting clients and suppliers to resolve problems and ensuring that all procurement activities are carried out in a timely and efficient manner.

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who can work effectively in a team environment. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of MS Office and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Purchasing general and specialized equipment, materials, or business services
  • Assessing requirements of the establishment to develop specifications for equipment, materials, and supplies to be purchased
  • Reviewing quotations
  • Determining contract terms and conditions
  • Establishing delivery schedules
  • Contacting clients and suppliers to resolve problems
