Job Title: Procurement Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join Alberta Ltd. as a key member of our procurement team. The successful candidate will be responsible for purchasing general and specialized equipment, materials, and business services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Purchase equipment, materials, and services in accordance with established specifications and budget guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and competitive pricing.
  • Assess requirements of our establishment to develop specifications for equipment, materials, and supplies to be purchased.
  • Negotiate offers from suppliers and review quotations to ensure best value.
  • Determine contract terms and conditions, and establish delivery schedules.
  • Consult with suppliers and clients to resolve any issues that may arise.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in procurement or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Working Conditions:

  • Work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Regularly work 32 hours per week.
