Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Financial Planner 4 to join our team in Canada, specifically in Newmarket and Aurora, Ontario. This role offers a competitive compensation package and benefits.

The ideal candidate will have experience in financial planning and investment sales, with a strong focus on developing and deepening client relationships. A key aspect of this position is providing high-quality advice and service to clients in the mass affluent market, helping them achieve their unique financial goals through comprehensive financial planning frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth reviews for assigned clients, including retirement planning, wealth accumulation, and estate planning, utilizing financial planning skills and tools to support clients' financial objectives.
  • Naturally uncover and solve clients' needs by delivering trusted financial advice on investments and retirement planning.
  • Develop customized financial strategies and solutions that cater to each client's requirements.
  • Educate clients on relevant insights and expert advice, demonstrating a collaborative approach when dealing with peers, clients, and partners.
  • Build lasting relationships with existing clients, focusing on delivering exceptional client experiences and growing long-standing connections.

Requirements:

  • A degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Proven track record in financial planning and investment sales, preferably with experience in the mass affluent market.
  • Familiarity with proprietary investment business development and growth strategies.
  • Skillful in conducting comprehensive financial reviews and creating tailored financial plans.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients and colleagues.
  • Goal-oriented and entrepreneurial mindset, with minimal supervision required.
