We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team at S & S Gill Homes and Construction Inc. as a full-time permanent position. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about construction and willing to learn and grow with our company.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting our construction teams in various tasks, including loading and unloading materials, erecting and dismantling forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades. They will also assist in mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt, and perform other duties as required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Loading and unloading construction materials from trucks and equipment
  • Erecting and dismantling forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades
  • Mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt
  • Assisting in demolishing buildings and cleaning up debris
  • Transporting equipment and tools to and from work sites
  • Performing other tasks as required by the supervisor or project manager
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:


  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • At least one year of experience in construction laboring or a related field
  • A valid driver's license (if applicable)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Physical stamina to lift heavy loads and work in dusty conditions
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
