Job Summary:

The University of Regina seeks a skilled Sustainability Coordinator to drive sustainability initiatives and align environmental, social, and economic goals with strategic institutional objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support and coordinate strategic projects to ensure the successful implementation of sustainability initiatives and achievement of key milestones.
  • Assess analytics and implement evidence-based decision-making to track progress and ensure accountability in advancing the University's sustainability goals.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively to ensure coordination with various units, faculties, and partners.
  • Compile regular reports on the University's sustainability performance, reflecting a commitment to transparency and accountability.
  • Provide information, address queries, and promote awareness to cultivate a sustainability mindset within the University community.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in environmental science, environmental studies, geography, business, marketing, communications, journalism, statistics, computer science, or related field.
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in a related field.
