About the Opportunity

WSP Canada is seeking a highly skilled Contract Administrator to lead and manage water and wastewater infrastructure projects from start to finish. As a key member of our dynamic team, you will work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, Designers, Inspectors, and other staff to ensure project quality and compliance.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with project teams to evaluate contractor performance and meet project deliverables and quality standards.
  • Lead project teams through the construction of treatment facilities, pumping stations, water mains, sewer mains, and more.
  • Maintain regular client communication to update on project status and resolve issues.
  • Manage Quality Assurance, payment certificates, change requests, and claims.
  • Respond to contractor RFIs and clarification requests.
  • Prepare Engineering Certifications.
  • Ensure compliance with WSP's safety policies and legislative requirements.
  • Provide performance feedback and mentor team members.
Requirements
  • 7+ years in Contract Administration and Site Inspection on wastewater treatment, pumping stations, installation of watermains, force mains, and sewer mains.
  • Experience with and knowledge of the CCDC is a plus.
  • Very good understanding of OPSS and municipal standards.
  • Good understanding of resolving and managing claims and changes.
  • Experience with large civil construction projects, especially water and wastewater systems.
  • Knowledge of working on City of Toronto projects is an asset.
  • Proven leadership and team supervision skills.
  • Expertise in project planning, risk management, cost management, and scheduling.
  • Proficiency in contract document preparation and administration.
