About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Landscape Worker to join our team at Nest Landscaping Ltd. As a key member of our outdoor work crew, you will be responsible for assisting with landscape constructions, tying and securing plants, and performing various tasks to maintain our clients' properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with landscape constructions, including planting, pruning, and trimming trees and plants.
  • Tie and secure plants, ensuring they are properly anchored and stable.
  • Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to maintain their health and appearance.
  • Cut grass and rake and collect refuse to keep our clients' properties clean and tidy.
  • Remove litter and garbage, and cart and spread topsoil and other materials as needed.
  • Lay sod or seed, and plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees to enhance our clients' outdoor spaces.
  • Apply fertilizers and water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to ensure they receive the necessary care.
  • Operate fan snow guns to maintain our clients' properties during the winter months.
Work Environment

As a Landscape Worker, you will be working outdoors in a variety of settings, including residential and commercial properties. You will be exposed to the elements, including sun, rain, and extreme temperatures. You will also be working with heavy equipment and materials, and may be required to lift and carry heavy loads.

Requirements
  • Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting and carrying heavy loads.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic knowledge of horticulture and landscaping principles.
  • Ability to operate heavy equipment, such as lawn mowers and snow guns.
