About the Role

This permanent position offers a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $55,000 per annum, depending on experience. The successful candidate will work 35-40 hours per week, providing exceptional care and education to our preschoolers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Design and implement engaging child-care programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Leadership: Lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs, and taking children on outings to local points of interest.
  • Observations: Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors.
  • Collaboration: Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children.
  • Environment Maintenance: Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Educational Qualification: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Relevant Experience: An asset.
  • Certificates, Licenses, Memberships, and Courses: Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate, First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate.
